I took out his water dish, replaced his sand with tiles and insulated his tank more (its winter here)..i ended up buying a reptisun 10.0 tube as I was told they are the best. His behaviour improved within a day and I think he had the beginings...

He's yellow and his side patches are purple, but id guess you call them grey. He's very spikey, lots of scales.

Yep mitch went and bou ght a probe thermometer and hygrometer in one. Still trying to work out all the buttons...the instructions have only pictures. No words. Lol. Well work it out. I might use a normal bulb when i can get a second lamp. I doubt id remember to change it every morning/night now...

I live on the gold coast and NOBODY stocks zoo med tubes, and the one place that could order them in wants me to pay $90. I can get them online but i dont want it to arrive broken. Is there anybody who lives here and knows WHERE to get them for a reasonable price? xo :)

So i read that my beardy should have a small water dish, but also that the humidity needs to stay below 40%, wouldnt it be easier to have no water dish and just make sure he has regular baths? Im a noob so i just wanted to make suuuuree. :)

Really? Ok thats really good. Ive insulated the hell out of it now and it stays alot warmer at night. And it def gets to 18 or lower here in winter. Its not always hot. Thankfully :p

Ughh so my canopy is useless? that was 100 buck D: I HATE Pet shops. Also ive looked for like half an hour and i cant find what youre talking about to house the tube. I found a whole mess of bulbs and stuff but no strip hood :(

I just looked at the link for the bulbs..it says the tubes are 24"??? My canopy will only hold a normal sized bulb. And how long do they last?
