Don't spread poop on his poop spot. They tend to poop and run away from it cause they are that smart. Do the exact same thing you did without the poop spread. Also give him warm baths every day. It works great on making them poop. Keep the water warm till he poops. Works for Jericho and keeps...

I would find a way to order the correct light online as well as a temp gun or atleast a two probe thermometer. Some cheap thermometers have been tested to be up to 20 degrees off. That is life threatening for a beardie. Probes are very accurate.
