we have 2 dragons, both about 6 months old. one of them has taken up digging.. we have paper towel in the enclosure, and he digs almost like hes trying to get under his basking rock/cavern area. is this normal? is there anything i can do to help him out digging wise, like giving him some time...

i am happy to report the seller has reshipped a replacement order after this fiasco.. i am hoping they are packaged better, and dont freeze or begin dying off.

Thank you Drache, I wasn't sure when I posted. I have emailed the seller, and she is saying that she doesn't know why they are dying and that its no fault of theirs :( I am going to continue to converse back and forth and hopefully can get this resolved, I am very disappointed though

what are pellets?

mine poop about 2-3 times a day each, but they eat like pigs too.. alot of green and probably about 50 crickets each a day, they are 16 wks old

what should it look like? sometimes my beardies have solid brownish poop, i can pick it up without it crumbling. sometimes there are pieces that are white? never really runny.. how should they look?

how old is your beardie? I am no pro, but I have read a lot that very young beardies tend to ignore the greens, just keep offering them and they will start to nibble :)

not to thread jack, but why no supers for dragons under 16 inches? mine are 11.75 inches and 12.25 inches long, and i fed them some supers a cpl weeks ago(I never saw that I shouldnt before) and they appeared to have no issues?

we have a 55 gallon 48l, 13 wide and 24 tall, with repti sun 10.0 on either side, and a 150 watt basking light in a flukers dimmable clamp lamp. its just the last 3 days i have seen her do it. she has done it while up on the basking rock, which is roughly 6.5-8 inches(depending on location)...
