    Question about eggs

My bearded dragon laid her first clutch 41 days ago and only 2 made it. I have candled them and I could see them moving around. I checked on them the other day and they seem to be a little dented but I can see the baby in one of the eggs but the other is dented on the side so I can't candle it...

    Help with a gravid beardie.

Thank you for your reply! I'm not exactly sure if they are fertile or not. I give my beardies some time to run around outside of their enclosure and I have a male that is about the same age as they are that hangs out with them but didn't show any signs of trying to mate until recently when I saw...

    Help with a gravid beardie.

I believe one of my female bearded dragons could be gravid. She is digging a lot and not eating. Her body seems wider than usual and when I rubbed her belly, there seems to be eggs in her. I'm just not sure of what I should be doing at this point. I made her a little laying box but I'm looking...

    Baby Corn Snake Not Eating.

I have no seen her hunt yet, she's usually just hanging out in her hide or in the hanging greens. I don't see her out very much and that kind of worries me.

    Baby Corn Snake Not Eating.

I got my corn snake on April 13th and tried feeding it on the 17th, 20th and 22nd. I have had no luck with this and I have tried everything that I see online besides live pinkies. I have a little box with breathing holes in it that I put her in with the pinkie and she is not responding. I have...

    Is my Beardie a Miniature???

When I got my first 2 beardies, I had them housed together and they had a similar problem. I took them to the vet and he said that it was because Chomper was stealing most of the food and was more dominate so he would take all of the good basking spots which caused Reptar not to grow as fast as...

    Chomper (the escape artist)

So, we left to go to That Pet Place in Lancaster, got halfway there and realized I left my coupons at home. We turned around and I ran in to get them. As I walked past Chompers cage, I saw the dog watching him and thought "what are you staring so hard at?" Then I realized Chomper is possible one...

    New Babies. ;)

I haven't been on here in a while but to keep you updated, I surrendered Reptar to the vet. He said I could surrender him so he could keep a better eye on his yellow fungus as it looked like it was spreading. We miss him but we know he is much better off now. I recently took in a couple babies...

Have 2 bearded dragons, one not growing.

I had the same issue with Reptar and Chomper. I took them to the vet for a check up and he said that it may be because Chomper is so dominate, he probably tries to steal most of the food and the best basking spots. After I separated them, Reptar started putting some weight on. I would keep them...

    Beardie Name Origins

Chomper earned his name better than any of my other animals by far. He lovvveesss to eat. We decided to name him Chomper after The Land Before Time character when he was just a baby, before we knew he was a pig. :) Reptar (who we had to surrender to the vet) was named after the Rugrats character. :)

    Pooping Problems.

For about the past month or so Chomper has been slowly but surely pooping less. It's gotten to the point now that he is only pooping about once a week. He went on January 29th and then again on February 4th but nothing since. I know this isn't normal but nothing has changed, he still eats the...

    New Giant Day Gecko!

We have proudly adopted a new day gecko into our family. My boyfriend used to have one a couple years ago and he housed his with a whites tree frog and they got along great. I know there are plenty of people who do not approve but I think it's a great idea. Does anyone know anything else that...

    Chomper is black, again.

He's actually looking a little better at the moment but he looked pretty upset earlier. Anyways, I saw all of those signs as well but what was most shocking was how black he turned. He is alone in a 40b tank, he has been that way since August when we moved his brother to a different tank. He is...

    Chomper is black, again.

Chomper is about 9 months old...I haven't had many issues out of him until recent. I think there is a possibility that he may have pin worms so I will need to have him seen by a vet but also today his basking light burnt out so I went out and bought him a new one. It's a different brand than I...
