My bearded dragon laid her first clutch 41 days ago and only 2 made it. I have candled them and I could see them moving around. I checked on them the other day and they seem to be a little dented but I can see the baby in one of the eggs but the other is dented on the side so I can't candle it very well.
She laid 19 more eggs on 4/9 and some were not fertile. I kept 11 that looked pretty good and threw out some that were yellow and seemed moldy. The egg from the first clutch that I cannot see anymore because of the dent seemed to have a little mold on the tip of it but not a lot. Will that hurt that egg?
Also, a friend of mine said that since they were dented like that, there's a possibility that they would hatch soon but they are only 41 days old...that doesn't seem right to me.
Any suggestions?
