hi we have just got a heat mat for yoshi as our flat is getting cold and the temps are getting to about 65 my question is whaty temp do i need to keep it at at night time advice is much appreciated louby

yeah you will get there i never knew how much patience is needed for a beardie and they learn how to tell u to leave them alone when they have had enough for eg yoshi closes his eyes and then opens them as if to say when i open them up i want you to be gone lol

they also go darker with patches or marks when they are either cold or starting to shed or they are aborbing heat

yeah if u have only had him a wk its understandable yoshi would always be inquizative and now we have had him 8 wks hes calmed down loads and a moody teenager lol

hi my beardie yoshi does the same he has a little bed and when i turn his lights on if it wasnt for me moving his blanket out in the morning and physically putting him on his basking log hed never get up.... i must have to keep putting him back on his log at least 3 times in the morning...

hey when they are all white all over this means they are happy or content at least ....what ive found with yoshi is that let him be and he will start to be more content

hey i agree we have had yoshi 9 wks this wk and he is about 5 mths old when we first got him he was very timid and didnt want to know...basically you got to earn their trust we started by only having my partner feeding him to gain his trust and i would stand afar and talk to him.... keep talking...

aaawwwww he is gorgeous and loving the name my little man is called yoshi too x
