I want to give my dragons some dandielion greens and was wondering if i could use wild ones from my yard. i don't use pesticides so they should be ok. What would be the best way to prepare them and too clean them.
I have a odd shaped glass tank for my beardie and i can't find a screen top too fit it so i have to try and make one myself so i was wondering what you would recommend to use for the frame and the screen itself. The tank is 48"X24". I want to make it so my guy get the most from his uv light.
I was wondering what other size fixture i could use for my tank other then 36". It is impossible too find a 36" t8 fixture here in vancouver. I can get lots of t5 or t12. The only t8s i can find here are 24" or 48" and they run around $50.
I had a 24in fluroesent light fixture from an aquarium given too me and i was wondering if that would be ok to use for a reptisun 10.0 bulb or maybe just too use for extra light for my viv.
Would a 24" bulb be ok or should i get a bigger one. I can find lots of 24" fixtures that are t8 but none over that size under $50. They are either t5 or t12
Does anyone know where i can get a 36in t8 fixture from in vancouver area. I've called wal-mart , home depot and nobody has them, just t5-t12. I want it for a reptisun 10.0
i was wondering if a 48in shop light is too long. I was was told too use a 36" but trying too find fixture that size here is next too impossible. The only ones i can find are t5s(lots of 24"-48" t8).Would a long strip with 2 fluro tube do anything too the cool side. I a total newbie at this so i...
would a 48 in shop light be ok to put a retisun 10.0 for the uv in along with a regular flouresent bulb just for extra light. my tank is 4ft X2ftX 18in,
I have a chance too get a mesh top for my new tank but its measurements are 48.5 X13 and my tank is 48 X24 so i was wondering what i could do too modify it too fit my tank. I want too mount the lights on the inside so i was thinking about getting some plywood or something for what the mesh...
I was wondering what reptisun bulb would work better in a 48X24X18 tank would be better the 5.0 or the 10.0 and what length would be best. I was thinking 24". I can't find a 36" fixture up here(BC) for under $40 and the bulbs are about $40 too. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated...
I want to put slate tiles in my beardies tank. I know i need 8 tiles and the inside measurements are 47.5 X 23.5 so i'm just wondering if this sounds right so here goes. 3 12X12 and 5 12X11.5. I'm not very experienced at doing things like this so i just need a little help with the measurements...
I was wondering if there was or the best way too freeze greens for salads. If i buy bulk it goes bad in about a week or so and they are expensive too get around here.
I would be interested in them. I live i Canada(BC) so if they were avaliable here in the US i would order one. I have a friend in London that has one for his beardie and he says they are great. I will take 1 24" and 1 18" if you can get it.
