I was wondering what reptisun bulb would work better in a 48X24X18 tank would be better the 5.0 or the 10.0 and what length would be best. I was thinking 24". I can't find a 36" fixture up here(BC) for under $40 and the bulbs are about $40 too. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Would a 24" bulb be ok or should i get a bigger one. I can find lots of 24" fixtures that are t8 but none over that size under $50. They are either t5 or t12

Yeah I found it harder to find longer fixtures. 24" would be fine. Just make sure your Beardie can get within 6-8" and personally I would have it near the basking spot. They do make 36" and 48" fixtures. But they tend to more money. I used a 24" until I built a custom cage and wired in a 36" commercial fixture. It was $50 at the hardware store but it needed to be wired it had no plug. It took me a long time to find it because all I saw was 24" and 48" fixtures until I ran into it by chance. if you can't find a longer one I wouldn't stress just use the 24".

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
