    I noticed Rikku scales round her face had lightened a great deal, i put it down to shedding. I looked at ther today and i notice all the scales on the top of her head are a funny blueish colour. I have never seem it like this before. Should I panic yet?

    Well the lumps started as sand that she had eaten, they got bigger as she eat anything as nothing could pass through. I was told by the vet that they removed large amounts of sand and old poop. The only way to stop this happening is to remove the sand from the tank. I think its a very good idea...

    Just got a call from the vet, Rikku has had her op and is now awake and coming round slowly. They want to keep her in til wednesday to make sure everything is ok. So happy, cant wait to have her back home.
