I second the fact that maybe he is going into brumation. I have found also that my adult beardie eats more of her salad if I shake some in front of her face. I think this may have spoiled her when I started doing that every now and again because I think she almost expects it now.

I am using a reptisun 10.0 which I have velcro on so it is in the enclosure. He can get within 5-6" inches from it.

I also forgot to mention in the original post that he seems to spend most of his time on the cool side of his enclosure.

Just as an update the basking temperature has been 110F since Friday morning. He has become more lively, but still has not eaten. I gave him a bath tuesday and another one today.

Thank you for your help guys. I am currently using the doubled sided tape that comes with the 3M command hooks and when I get a chance I plan on buying the velcro because that seems more sturdy.

Both of my beardies do the exact some thing. My younger one does it at least twice daily. My adult only does it occasionally. It always looks uncomfortable, but I agree, it does look funny.

just for the record his/her temps are 101F on the basking spot and in the low 80's on the cool side. Should I create a little higher basking spot or is that ok?
