Judging by measuring tape. She was 8" when I got her, now over a month later, she's only about 8.5" at most. She hasn't even shed, nor does it look like she's going to either any time soon.

That's my best guess. No attention at home, so they get it any way they can. And unfortunately it's like this, since they're generally not very good at making friends. It's a shame, really.
