did you ever get the purple haze off? I just did part of mine and it also left a slight haze. So I sprinkled some grout over the wet sealant and brushed off the dust when it dried. It came out pretty nice doing it that way.

I just got a ACU-RITE and the coolest spot in both my tanks range from 84-87. Its really hot where i live and i have the hottest room in the house. My room will only make it to the low 80s mid day. Has anyone ever put a little cooling fan in their viv? Like a little PC fan.
