I was there and it was sweet. They had beautiful little beardies for 35$ !!! (orange, etc.) I can only recommend going there.. They even let you hold alligators, snakes, etc.

Okay but Sand is acceptable for for Adult Dragons, so can I simply use Washed Playsand or is there something that's better? I know most of you prefer tile but to me sand belongs with the dragon and I am willing to clean it out/throw out sand quite frequently.

You don't need pesticides or chemicals to develop parasites.. Unless you have a microscope or lab you can't really tell if they have some or not. Parasites are normal in nature but the beardies aren't used to any of them since they grew up in captivity. I guess making sure to get healthy...

Hey Em, I measured the temps again and the basking spot is def. hot enough. It's 110 degree's. At night, it's 63-65 degree's in here. This is the 4th consecutive day that he hasn't eaten anything. And only 2 waxworms + 2 crickets the entire week. We tried raspberries, blueberries, babyfood...
