Here is Rog, 4 months old. He was with 2 other beardies at Petsmart. We bought him and he was fairly happy. He ate 3 big crickets his first day, hunting them down.
This a picture from when we got him.
However, the next day he didn't eat anything (including the next 5 days). Finally then he ate 3 Waxworms, all hand fed. Then he didn't eat for the next 4 days again, ignoring crickets, babyfood, greens. Then we got him Phoenixworms and he ate them for 3 days (5 the first, 20 the next, 20 the one after). Then he stopped eating. It's been 5 days now and he hasn't eaten anything. We give him baths, so he does get water.
At this point we are ready to go to a vet but we dont want to pay so much. We can see he is healthy outside, but he might have worms so maybe we should take a fecal of him. I have the feeling it's either worms, or he is not adjusting well. He might be lonely.. He NEVER leaves his rocks except for when he poops. See a picture of him we took today (he is skinny).
Our temperatures are 105-110 (at the focal point, I guess a little hotter but he doesn't go there unless he is wet, he knows how hot he wants it, plus we usually set the light so that the focal point is not on the rocks but the carpet at which it's not that hot). The cool area is 70's, during the night it doesn't get colder than 67.
Here is the terrarium:
Temperatures were taken with a probe. UVB is Reptisun 10.0. Basking Bulb is 100w by MedZoo.
Any tips appreciated, we just don't know what's wrong with him he is getting so much love and care..
