Hey everyone,
our bearded dragon is about 1,5 years old and become extremely lethargic. First of all, he has never been a good eater - ever. We have always included tomatoes, apples, kale, lettuce in his diet with superworms and crickets. He used to rampage through those worms and eat 10 + big ones per meal. Now, however, he doesn't eat anything and just lies in the corner. When we try to make him eat, it seems as if his tongue cannot shoot out anymore. He tries to grab the worm/cricket with his tongue, but fails and then doesn't want to anymore.
Any recommendations? We will have to look for a vet if he doesn't turn around soon.
His cage is big - 75 gallons. Temperatures are great, and we just replaced a the uvb light a month ago. It really seems to be his tongue I wonder if a superworm bit him right there..
