don't have to hand feed just get a rubbermaid container and feed him in there so you don't have to worry about any crickets being left in the enclosure. My Al is nine inches and he eats easly 100 a day and his salad with out fail.

just make sure you are ready. In the long run you will need around a 4ft long cage it is a lot of space to breed crickets and keep beardies. I have half of my bedroom dedicated to the cause and I don't breed crickets Just order 1000 at a time. I must agree mom and dad need to be 100% on board...

From what I understand the beardies have a third eye on top of there head that senses light and the red light will disturb there sleep which is why you would typically use a C.H.E since it emitts no light.

thats a funny story Al almost did the same thing today. you don't dare give free rien of the bed becouse he bail off to floor and run all over the place.

You could give him a bath to help loosen up the shed helped our little guys out alot. If they could have I belive they would have said thank you.
