    warning Beardies eat Beardies

I did ask him all of the questions. I never once heard mention of him already owning another beardie. Short of flying to his house, he checked out. I'm very picky about who I send to. Had I had even a hint of an issue with him, my dragon would never have been sent there.

If he showed any remorse on her or through our e mails, I might agree with you. However, I don't.

It did not sound like he cared at all. Thank you for agreeing with me.

    warning Beardies eat Beardies

I'm having a hard time believing that everyone is so understanding about this. Minimal research would tell you up front NOT to house together. I'm not understanding in this situation as it was MY baby that got eaten today. Considering what they poor guy has been through with his smaller siblings...

    Discoid Roaches

As long as baby Discoids are just as safe as baby Dubia, I'm good. I'm in the process of ordering some now to form a colony. Thanks so much for your response!

    Discoid Roaches

And do they digest completely? Once person on another site said her beardie passed the entire exoskeleton. Did you have issues with this?

    Length or Width?

That's my understanding as well. I measure mine across the beardie's nose based on the cricket's nose to rear end, not from side to side. I'm not sure how others on here do it.

    Discoid Roaches

Anyone? Surely another Florida resident out there has had to use them before.

    Discoid Roaches

From what I've read, Discoid Roaches are very similar to Dubia Roaches. One thing that concerns me is some sites say that the babies shouldn't be fed to hatching dragons due to the hard shell. Has anyone ever tried these? Does anyone currently feed them? I'm in Florida and they're the only legal...

    Feeding in tank

I agree. When mine were fed in the tank, I took everything out. That's what I'm doing for my baby beardies now. They like to eat in their enclosure so I feed them one at a time in there with everything taken out.

    Feeding in tank

My adults eat straight from the container. Their enclosures are wooden so dropping crickets in is a bad idea. They climb all over the place and I lose more than they eat. For the babies, I have been TRYING to feed them in other areas so I can keep track of the crickets, but they don't like being...

    Babies :)

Thank you. 3 more hatched out last night and are still sleeping it off in the incubator. All adorable and perfectly formed. Babies #1 and 2 are eating like champs and have nice fat bellies now. :)

    Babies :)

Well, Ember and Anaru have finally done the deed and gave me 22 eggs. I lost two due to a malfunction in my incubator. It could have been so much worse. As of right now, I have two babies out as of Monday night and Tuesday morning. They came two weeks faster than I expected and all of the other...

    Mold in Cricket Enclosure

Okay I've posted before about breeding crickets. Well, here I am again. The babies are hatched, eating, and growing, but the mold will not stay out of their enclosure. I constantly have to move them from one bin to another and the same thing happens! I don't mist them, I started using potatoes...

    Cricket babies

Thank you so much. I'll try that with my next batch of babies. It gets really frustrating to have so many and have every single one of them die!

    Cricket babies

I can NOT keep my cricket babies alive. I can incubate/hatch millions of them, but they all die in the first week! Can someone walk me through how they care for their babies so I can see what I'm doing wrong. The first time the temperature was too low, so I fixed it. The second time there wasn't...

    Suddenly Picky

Okay all of a sudden my male will not eat hardly anything. He will eat crickets on occasion, though I offer them 2-3 times daily and he ignores them. He has ignored silk worms and roaches too. In the greens department, he will eat dandilion and turnip greens, but usually I offer him other foods...
