    Red foot

I have been keeping an eye on Goliath's foot/leg and I even though I was looking at his right leg I thought I was looking at the wrong one. It looks so good. Almost back to normal. The red spot is nearly gone. Thank you so much everyone for all the help. He seems to like the babyfood, but since...

    Red foot

Thank you. My husband is feeling a little better, but not well enough to get out of bed yet. I'm sure he will be fine by tomorrow. LOL I have plenty of baby food around. Might have to give that a try. No screen. His uv is directly over his basking spot, where he spends the largest majority of...

    Red foot

Goliath is nearing 2 years old now. Probably a year and 22 months? Not completely sure We are using rep-cal calcium and vitamins. Calcium daily and vitamins 3-4 times a week. This does pose a question. He doesn't like salad much. He really likes super worms, and I know that he is supposed to...

    Red foot

Thank you, thank you, thank you to you. I will look into those websites later. We are not using a heat rock. I will get back to you on temperatures and all later when I have more time. My husband has been up all night with the flu and the baby just woke up so I need to go. But I wanted to tell...

    Red foot

I did not mean to be offensive in any way. I just keep hearing It could be this, or this, or this, but no information to help me understand. I do appreciate your help. I am just concerned for him. I will take him to the vet if he needs. I just don't want to take him just to find a couple days...

    Red foot

I'm starting to feel very frustrated. :( This is my daughter's lizard and our only family pet. Please don't turn this into a game of "who is right." He is the first bearded dragon we have owned and we really enjoy having him as a pet. But there is so much to learn about them. If you think you...

    Red foot

Gail can you please explain this to me? Or send me a link? Everything I can find about "systematic infection" pertains to mouth rot. His mouth does not show signs of softness. BTW my husband has moved his uvb light now. It is about 6 inches from his basking spot.

    Red foot

Tomorrow my husband is going to move his uvb light so it is 6-8 inches away from his basking spot. Hope it being so far from him hasn't harmed him :( :( :(

    Red foot

What is gout and how would I know if he has it? We are using a reptisun bulb. It is only about 3 months old. It is about 15 inches from him. (I just realized that is to far) He has ceramic tile in his cage. I also noticed that the fat packs on his head that used to always be so firm are soft...

    Red foot

Hi everyone. I was hoping someone might be able to help me figure out why Goliath has a red foot. I have noticed over the last several months that a pinkish-orange color has began to show on his legs and I assumed that was just his coloring. But, today we discovered that the palm on his right...

Thanks Sarah that helped. Did she get slow and lazy though? Goliath is still full of energy. In fact earlier today he ran around the house from one end to the other.

1 year old, not eating much

Are you sure it would be burmation? He isn't sleeping during the days. He is very active and bright colored. He just eats so little. I thought he is to young to burmate as well. Since he is right about 1 year. (we got him at the pet store 11 months ago, so we are guessing a year)

1 year old, not eating much

Hi everyone. Goliath is roughly a year old now. He is active and happy, same as he always has been. But he doesn't eat much. He quit eating his supers, so we tried crickets. I know meal worms are not recommended but we tried them too, to see if he would eat some protein, but nothing. I caught...

    help with potty training *frustrated*

Did you try a shower? I know it sounds silly, but it might be more comfortable for him than a bath. Our beardie gets so scared at bath time. He just HATES it. But in the shower, he relaxes and just sits there chillin' :) can't hurt to try right? ;)
