first eye bulging

I am so thankful for BD.org!!!! I happened to read the topic about eye bulging and I am so glad I did because tonight Goliath decided to do it for the first time. I just sat there. Jaw dropped to the floor, reminding myself "this is normal....it's ok this is normal....BD.org says it's normal....."

I totally know what I would have done if I hadn't read the topic on it.It would go something like this....

Julie runs screaming from the bedroom to the living room where her husband is sitting. Panicking she yells "the lizard is chocking to death and his head is going to explode! Do something!"

Anyone else find it a bit freakish? lol

Eye bulging never fails to weird me out. I can't help but thing "Oh no (s)he's gonna bulge to far and an eyeball will go rolling across the viv" lol.

First time i seen it i thought her eyeballs were gonna pop out! I didnt read about it before hand. Soon as she stopped i ran and looked it up. They normaly do it when sheading or just before hand so mine are always doing it i try and get a picture of it but im just never quick enough.

LOL, even if you know what it is, it's still waaaay too weird! I swear Jasper used to do it just to make me uncomfortable. He's sit there and look right at me, and then very slowly bulge one eye all the way, and then the other. I'd be saying "Jasper! Stop it! Don't do that!" and he'd just keep going. :lol:

Wow I'm glad I read this so I don't freak out... eye bulging, possible unfertilized eggs, poo everywhere, what else may I look forward to :lol:

The worst part, is that he hasn't done it again! My husband didn't see it, and I want him to see how creepy it is LOL

:shock: My baby also did this for the first time a few days ago. At first, I almost freaked out and then I realized I had read about it here as well. He did it again later same day and since he's been scratching his face against stuff in his viv. Incredible. You imagine if we could go around bulging our eyes like that too? Actually, I think I saw a man do that in Riepley's (sp?) Believe it or Not... :shock:

I've heard though that if they eye bulge too oten, it could be a sign of health problems. I know Cheif does it when he's warming up in the morning, but he doesn't do it every day

LOL that just isn't his best pose Goliath has only ever done it one time. I still wish he would do it just once more so my husband can see it. Then never again!
