thanks for your reply. she actually hasnt been offered crickets in a couple months now because of her reaction to the single crickets i put in with her, i tried the freezer trick and always used to pull the legs off. i usually only fed her 1 at a time because i noticed they would all escape...

does anyone think it is strange for a predator to be terrified of its measly prey other than me? i think for the mean while i will stick with super worms. if anyone has any suggestions as to what i can do to get her back on crickets that would be a help. thanks!

thanks for your reply, as previously stated she is currently being fed supers and she is beyond 16in. never have i seen her eat 5 at once, its usually one every few seconds, and only 5-6.

how long have you had him? he may eat very little for up to 2 weeks while he settles in, this is called relocation stress. could you go over your cage setup as well? such as what substrate, lighting and brand names, cage size ect.

haha thats so cute, i hope one day whopper will be that excited. i cleaned out the old tank and lined it with paper towel. i put him for about 5 mins with some crickets but he wasnt interested. im sure he'll catch on though. do you have any videos of your girl running back and forth b4 feeding?

thanks, when i first got him i tried using a smaller tank to feed him but it looked like it just stressed him out. i will try again though. is a 20g tank to big? hes about 8 inches H-T.
