I think he's going to die soon

He actually ate this morning!! Maybe there's still a little life left in him. :blob8: He really scared me last night though. He was having multiple fits in his viv last night. I stayed up until 2am with him until I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer. It was really strange having him so...

I think he's going to die soon

We have had Lance for over 5 years. We purchased him from someone off Kijiji and they said he was about 2 1/2. So that makes him about 7-8 years old. A little history: shortly after getting him we found this wonderful site and changed everything. The lighting, substrate, housed him seperately...

    Baby food?

Don't rush into anything. Sometimes it takes a Beardie awhile to come out of brumation. They will eat when they are hungry and awake enough. My Sly took a couple weeks to be fully functioning enough to want to eat. His appetite is great all because we allowed him to go through the natural...

    Baby food?

What are the ingrediants in them? I am quite experienced with baby food feeding as we must do it every other day and know what to give them without harming them.

    UVB what would you choose?

We have a dilemma as to new lighting. Our local stores do not carry ReptiSun bulbs. They no longer carry the MegaRay bulbs either. Which is good because they would burn out on us within a month of using the megaraya. The stores around here sell either SolarGlo mvb bulbs or ReptiGlo bulbs...

Belly & Back Twitching, vet is at a loss

One thing I noticed that others may have not is the feeding of spinach. Spinach binds the calcium so I would discontinue feeding him spinach from now on. It's probably not the problem but lets eliminate it completely to his diet from now on.

    Myrtle Beach? Anyone around there?

My b/f and I are heading to Myrtle Beach for a week in September and would like to do some shopping for Beardie supplies. Does anyone know of any good reptile stores or pet stores that would carry Repti-Suns and supplies? I'd like to get a list of different places to visit before we go so we...

    HOLES disney film

There's a few different movies with Beardies in them. I know that new Fockers movies has one in it. My son told me yesterday that the Zoo Keeper movie has a couple in it too. His Aunt took him last night and he was super stoked about seeing beardies!

    Mites Again..

I battled a small mite problem with one of my girls for 6 months. I bathed her daily in betadine baths and cleaned her enclosure with bleach daily as well. It didn`t work. In the 5th month I buckled and went to the pet store for some Mite Spray. I took her tank and sprayed it down one night...

14 year old Bearded Dragon 'Morris' :(

It's possible for them to thrive without teeth. My oldest male, Lance, has no teeth and he is doing fabulous! He's 5 years old so not as old as your fella. Thing is, we syringe feed him baby food DAILY. It was rough going at first but now he opens his mouth right up when he sees the syringe...

Light Change Is Affecting Her... Why?

Here's the scoop... I have a 2 year old female called Lemon. Her MegaRay bulb kept burning out after a month and after returning the bulb for a new one 3 times we decided to set up a 36" ReptiSun flourescent tube in her viv. She can get within 5-6 inches from it and it spans almost the...

    Frustrated!!

Electric bill isn't too bad... It could be worse... If I had the space, time and money I'd probably have more. That is if I could sneak them passed the b/f while he is sleeping. Although in the summer I would like to get my 15 y/o a uromastyx so that would be yet another heat bulb burning...

    Frustrated!!

I wish I could go to the Reptile Expo. It sucks working night shift on the weekend and having to sleep during the day when so many fun activities happen. :( Then again, if I go, I'll be so tempted to get one for myself and frankly 6 is enough.
