Change of Light Afftecting Her... WHY?

I posted this in the Health section a week ago with no response at all what-so-ever and things still haven't changed so I'll post my dilemma here... Word for Word...

Here's the scoop... I have a 2 year old female called Lemon.

Her MegaRay bulb kept burning out after a month and after returning the bulb for a new one 3 times we decided to set up a 36" ReptiSun flourescent tube in her viv. She can get within 5-6 inches from it and it spans almost the entire viv. Her viv is a wooden homemade enclosure that's 4x2x2. It's been a week since we've switched the lighting.

Her basking bulb is a 100watt flood bulb and the temperature is measured at 105 in the basking spot. We use a laser temp gun so I know it's accurate.

Problem is this... Ever since the change in lighting she has become a lethargic. She eats her greens daily. She won't eat her superworms or any crickets. She's just refused to eat her favorite hornworms today as well. She is Dark. And I mean Dark. She's usually a nice yellow colour but she looks black. She has to been brought out of her cool side hide and placed on her basking spot to bask or she won't bask voluntarily. She is NOT going into brumation as she did so in the winter months for quite awhile.

I purchased her a year ago from a gentlemen and that's what he used when he has her but when she came to us we switched to the MegaRay because that's what all our other Beardies use (we have 6 in total). I'm very dissapointed in the new MegaRay bulbs and them blowing constantly. Why did they have to change them from the old and original bulbs? They used to work so well!! We also have other new MegaRays that keep blowing and our pet store that sells them know us well now because we keep exchanging them monthly as they keep blowing.

Does she not like the ReptiSun flourescent bulb? Why is she acting this way? Any help or advice is appreciated....

That's strange, what kind of fixture do you have? Is it with electronic ballast or is it an ordinary ballasted fixture?
Ones with ordinary ballasts can flicker with low rate which bothers beardies (as does people if you're under it for extended periods).
You can see what ballast you have when you turn on the tube. If it turns on with flickering, you have ordinary ballast. If it turns on without flickering, you have electronic ballast.
I hope you'll find what's the problem, and I hope someone else will chime in with advice.

Hello,

Could you post a picture of your setup?
What type of basking light do you use, a bright white light, or a colored light? Is the basking light coated with Neodymium by any chance?
Does she seem to be having any eye trouble?

I am not sure why Reptile UV can't seem to use the old glass for their new lights. It is a problem at the factory but now they have outsourced & things just are not the same.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
