If mine snuggle in to me outside (& they live out there!), it's usually because something has spooked them - the birds, the other beardies, nothing specific, etc. Has there been anything inside or out that u might have changed or done recently that might have caused her a bit of stress? Maybe?

I've never heard of it, & they seem very protective of them initially - not even my males tried to get to the eggs, but guess if they were hungry enuf..... You'd also imagine if she ate them all she'd be REALLY fat! Wasn't a 'phantom pregnancy' by chance, or a false alarm?

Hi! Definitely need to split them up, hard when funds are short. Is your enclosure big enuf to divide for a period of time plus still have the right lights for both beardies? I don't know if it'd work taking him out for an hr or 2 to feed her, thinking this might just give u 2 stressed beardies...

Beach sand with it's salt content could be dangerous for your Beardie. River sand is their natural sand environment, which is the playsand people buy, or loamy sand, not coast sand. It might be a cheap solution to use, but I'd stay away from it - please?
