    Edamame?

Yup, they are just green soy beans... I guess I would have to be careful not to buy the ones that are already salted, but other than that I can't see why it would be a problem. He seemed to really like it, so maybe they'll make a good treat?

    He's gone wild!!!

Sprocket goes through phases like that... some times he is really, really calm almost to the point of being lazy, and other times he goes nuts! Glass dancing, jumping off his log to try to get out, etc. I think it has something to do with the seasons, but I haven't exactly pinpointed with...

    Edamame?

Ok, so I have a REALLY picky eater... he loves superworms and will usually eat arugula, but not a whole lot else. I mix other veggies from the beautifuldragon list in with his arugula and he occasionally will eat some of them when he's in the mood. He's healthy and happy so I am not concerned...

    Lazy Dragon?

I've actually had him for a little over a year... He doesn't puff up his beard as much as he used too, mostly just when he wakes up in the morning. But he does bob his head now (which he never used to do) and his beard gets black now too. I think he's just growing up!

    Lazy Dragon?

Thanks, it always eases my mind a bit to get some feedback from other beardie owners. Particularly since this is my first one and I don't want to do anything wrong as I love him! The only reason I was worried was because he had been SOOOO ACTIVE a few weeks ago for a couple of weeks. I mean...

    Lazy Dragon?

Sprocket is about 1.5 years old (I think) He can get within 12 inches of the MegaRay No change in temps from before. He prefers to hang on the warm side his favorite basking spot is about 115 degrees. He is still eating veggies and bugs, maybe a little decrease in appetite, but nothing...

    Lazy Dragon?

So, Sprocket's been very lazy/mopey lately... after several weeks of running around his tank like a spaz, running into the glass, tapping his nose on it, trying to climb up the walls, etc. Now for the past couple of weeks he's been really lazy. Lounging about, napping a lot. Still eating...

    Hurt Leg?

The MegaRay is only a month old, so it should be fine and I've been giving him calcium since I got him a little over a year ago. There's nothing in his tank that's higher off the ground than 4 inches, and he's pretty big now so I don't think that's the problem (20 inches from nose to tip of...

    Hurt Leg?

Hello Everyone, My beardie seems to be trying not to use one of back legs very much. Sort of like he's limping. I'm not really sure what might be wrong, could he have pulled a muscle maybe? He is otherwise eating and pooping and acting normal. General Info: he's about 2 years old I used a...

Oh God Sprocket Swallowed a Piece of Eye Dropper!!!!

FINALLY!!! :blob5: Sprocket finally passed the piece of plastic he swallowed! I'm so happy to not have to worry anymore! He swallowed it on Saturday and passed it today, so it took 5 days to pass. I guess that's pretty quick, but it still felt like a long time to worry. Though he didn't...

Oh God Sprocket Swallowed a Piece of Eye Dropper!!!!

Another Sprocket Update: He's still acting totally normal, no signs of distress or discomfort. He has poop 3 times since he swallowed the piece of plastic, but still no sign of it (and I've been looking, ick!). Still holding off on giving him crickets or superworms, just sticking to the...

Oh God Sprocket Swallowed a Piece of Eye Dropper!!!!

Second Sprocket Update: Still no signs of the piece of plastic... but he did have a nice big poop today in his morning bath, so at least I know things are still moving in there. Also, he is still acting normally and full of energy. Now that the weekend is over I've had to go back to work...

Oh God Sprocket Swallowed a Piece of Eye Dropper!!!!

Update on Sprocket: No poop yet... but still acting normally, doesn't appear to be in any discomfort. Gave him some more olive oil and some butternut squash baby food. He also ate some greens and a little bit of apple (though he did seem to like it and wouldn't eat anymore). Gave him a...

Oh God Sprocket Swallowed a Piece of Eye Dropper!!!!

Hi Tracie, I have some baby food squash I can give him, then tomorrow (its too late where I am to go to the store tonight) I'll get some more and some mineral or cod liver oil. On the bright side, he's never had any problems with impaction or pooping regularly. And he's full grown now, so...

Oh God Sprocket Swallowed a Piece of Eye Dropper!!!!

Ok so I gave him a little olive oil (its all I had on hand) and a long warm bath. No poop though. I'm not surprised though, he already went once this morning and he doesn't usually go more than once a day or even just every other day. I'll give him another bath in the morning if it doesn't...

Oh God Sprocket Swallowed a Piece of Eye Dropper!!!!

It was a fairly small piece, at max it was maybe a 1/4 of an inches? It wasn't jagged at all, but it did snap at an angle (not straight across) so one side of the piece might be a bit pointy. I feel terrible. Sprocket never drinks any water, even when it the bath, unless I drip it on his nose...

Oh God Sprocket Swallowed a Piece of Eye Dropper!!!!

Help, I'm kind of freaking out!!! Sprocket bite off and swallowed a piece of a plastic eye dropper and I don't know what to do. He seems fine, not bothered at all about it, but I'm worried about what it might be doing to his insides!!! What should I do?

    Hello!

Thanks for the advice... I was thinking the same thing! The mesh would make it hard to keep warm, might be ok in the summer, but definitely not the winter... Thanks telling me about http://www.glasscages.com. I really like the idea of their knock down acrylic...

    Hello!

Could I use something like this http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog/reptile-supplies/reptariums-reptarium-accessories-and-explorariums/-/65-gallon-basic-reptarium/? Or would the mesh let out too much heat? I am open to any and all suggestions! I need two complete setups, one for home on the...

    Hello!

Greeting! I have been hanging around this forum for a week or so while doing some research into BDs. I got a three month old male beardie this weekend and I am very excited! His name is "Sprocket" (as in the dog from Fraggle Rock or the boss from the Jettson's!) Anyways, I think I am off to...
