    Safe beardie soaps?

I always bathe my bearded dragon, yet just water hasn’t been working too well lately. His body is always clean and sanitary, but his tail is dirty. I don’t want to scrub too hard but I would like it to be clean to give him optimum comfort. So if you know of any safe soaps I can use for a bearded...

    Long time sleeping

I had exactly the same problem as you do and I have the same light, and I’m happy to say it’s quite an easy solution. All you have to do is find a way to station your T8 light inside of the enclosure on the top. You can do this using zip ties, gorilla glue, and rope. Just find a way to easily...

    Bearded sleeping a TON

It is a t5. Do you know how I can place it in the tank? Should I buy hooks or is there some other way to?

    Bearded sleeping a TON

I have a reptisun 10.0 UVB and I will look into getting that new one. The substrate was recommended by the place I got my dragon and they use it and say it’s great so I don’t think that’s the problem. (Don’t worry the place isn’t a chain pet store) Now, for the time being should I keep the UVB...

    Bearded sleeping a TON

Did I do it right? Right now my bearded is poking his head out awake but he won’t come out. He usually only comes out to eat.

    Bearded sleeping a TON

I have Zoo med dome lights and a long UV light that I think is also zoo med. Most of the time he’ll go under the light when he’s out, but other times he’ll just lay on top of his hide on the cool side of the tank.

    Bearded sleeping a TON

My bearded dragon is acting a bit weird lately. Although he’s usually really active, he’s been sleeping in his hide all the time lately! He will always come out for food and water and his appetite hasn’t changed at all. He stays out for maybe an hour after eating and then he just goes to sleep...

What to do with sheded skin?

So I got a bearded dragon and I love him! And I just dealt with my first shedding experience. I did my research before getting him so shedding was really easy. But, he just today shed all his skin off his back and it’s in his enclosure in one big chunk. So my question is do I take it out...

    Overwhelmed with insects

We all know (hopefully) that bearded dragons need to eat certain types of gut filled food. Especially when they are babies and juveniles. I know what to feed in terms of greens, but there are so many bugs out there bearded dragons can eat. I know the ones they can and can't and there is a lot...

Leaving beardie in room for day time.

Okay, when I get my bearded dragon will I be able to have it in my room in its cage? I am at school for 8 hours a day, but when I get home I always go up to my room. I will take it out of its terrarium and handle it and everything for a long time, but can it handle being alone in its terrarium...

    Bonding with new baby beardie.

If I buy a baby/juvenile bearded dragon, then have it for a little more than a month, but then leave it to boarding for 10 days will it be alright with bonding and everything? I guess what I'm trying to say is will it mess it up somehow?

Will a bearded dragon move from an area that is too hot?

Yes, it should move if it gets too hot for it. But, if this continues and it won’t move visit a trusted vet.
