No its not a good idea to use the self adhesive tiles the Glue Will give off fumes you can use shelf liner newspaper slate tile sheet vinyl with no glue might need something to hold down the edges hope this helps :D
You don't want to glue it down you can use it just place in there and put something along the edges to hold it down so they can't get underneath the linoleum most linoleum has a fiberglass backing slate tiles or reptile carpet would be a better option but the thing with the glue is underneath...

If you have a gas stove You can heat up rocks and bricks to help hold heat for warmth do you have a temperature gun if so you can use that to check the temperatures of the rocks or bricks hope this helps :)
It would be better to use Minwax Polycrylic water based sealer And you'll have to let air out a longer than a week With most sealers like that they put off fumes from the heat of the cage :)
I use the Arcadia Hi output linear fluorescent bulb T5 12 percent I got my bulbs from lightyourreptiles .com Todd is awesome to deal with he even has the Arcadia UVB Bulbs with converters to use in US socket send him an email or call and I'm pretty sure he can answer any question that you got :D
The glue on the bottom of the tile will give off fumes under the heat of the cage If you're going to use tiles it is best to use either slate Or if your set on vinyl tiles you can get vinyl tiles don't have glue on the back of them
