Well I'm happy to report that the little fella, pulled through on his... own... He's much more animated and charismatic again..... I can press on his beard now and it's empty.... it flattens..... :D So ecstatic for him!

hmmm.... I tried using a credit card but the poor guy just jerks his head and i feel bad.. i don't want to apply too much pressure in his jaws and break anything, get bit, or anything... It won't move out on its own?

I just noticed him (after my post).... in the dark... like he's annoyed already..... trying to rectify his throat..... Damn i feel so bad for the little fella...... I wanna open his mouth and remove them but i don't see t happening.... :cry:

:cry: I gave him some fresh collards yesterday as I usually do... I noticed an hour or so later he was opening his mouth trying to clear or swallow something.... and noticed quite a few not very well chewed pieces of collard in there....... Well when the lights went out instead of his usual...

Am I missing something here? I bought this Megaray self ballasted 100w and a few days in the thing starting flickering on and off.... I unscrewed and re-screwed it the first time thinking it was loose or something n fixed it... now it just keeps flicking on and off when it warms up after being...

Yea that sounds like a useful idea for a UVB stand alone. Thanks for that link.. The thread would have been even more useful if some more folks used photos as examples.... That still doesn't settle my basking light issue in this particular kind of Tank... hmmm is that MegaRay i mentioned from...

One of my biggest issues is that I'm restricted to whatever height my dome fixture clamp arm is. Am I missing something? Are there other fixtures options than these clamp arms where i can adjust the distance or even longer clamp arms available? Id'e like to get a UVB/Heat bulb from reptile UV...

So i got the dimensions i need...4@ 8 1/2' x12' 2@ 81/2' x 10' anyway, I kinda have a concern with these slate tiles... some of them have littler open pores/cracks.... Do i need to worry about my beardier hurting himself on these tiles and or losing a finger by getting his nails hooked in one...

Hi, It's been a while since Iv'e been here... I got my Beardie back in spring of 2010 sort of a rescue situation... and He's (KUMANOKO) been doing pretty great ever since. I've toyed around with the idea of getting tile substrate since then and even attempted a few times... Never got around to...

I figured she/hes not passing poop n just urates because she hasn't eaten but i still offer water regurlarly so of course It would pee.... I gotta take a pic of it's bottom so you guys can define her/his sex.. because this has been driving me crazy lol.... :oops:
