One of my biggest issues is that I'm restricted to whatever height my dome fixture clamp arm is. Am I missing something? Are there other fixtures options than these clamp arms where i can adjust the distance or even longer clamp arms available?
Id'e like to get a UVB/Heat bulb from reptile UV but am concerned that I won't be able to get the distance I need to keep my bearding safe. I have a standard 40g breeder and won't be able to upgrade to anything more dynamic for sometime.... Does anyone have this kind of setup and or any input?
Another issue I have is that I currently use a 10.0 Reptisun horizontal bulb.... The only way He can get any UVB from this in this kind of tank is through the screen which I'm sure greatly reduces the UVB Quality. I don't know how else to get that reptisun uvb to him with the screen off as there's nothing to sit it on...... This is why I think I'll probably benefit from the two in one...*Shrugs*
