Does your beardie poop in his/her sleep? (blood results p.9)

Heather...so glad you went for a second opinion! Pudgy has been in my thoughts. I was told when I bought Ridge in that day that it would have to be "quite a story for him to be impacted" ...two weeks of not pooping/dragging his hind legs and a second vet visit today and she agreed he was...

    mealworms??

Just went through two weeks of not pooping, two vet visits, blood work, and finally an enema. Don't risk it.... :/

    Bearded Dragon Found Outside

Nice to hear you took him in :) Where I work, I have the opportunity to introduce people to the bearded dragon we have and I've heard so many times about people who "just let them go." I nicely explain why that's awful! Good luck...fingers crossed for you!!

    Ridge; my tail-less wonder!

I adopted an adult beardie a few months back and cannot help but finally share some photos. He was the perfect addition to my life :) Although just recently given a clean bill of health (thank goodness!), Ridge has some everlasting traits that will stick with him because of having MBD when...

Pudgy's eye...Has this happened to you? I feel so bad!!

Just wanted to say hello because I'm the girl you ran into at the vet today on your way out! I had the beardie sleeping in his towel! I knew that I had seen someone on this forum with a beardie named Pudgy :) Hope everything gets better for you! My verdict showed everything normal besides a...

    Balance

I know beardies can't detach their tail....he was apparently born with out it. So I wasn't sure how much balance and stability the tail provides for the dragon.... He seems okay, he just have a few stumbles and when he goes after worms or crickets and misses-- sometimes he'll trip over himself...

    Balance

Hello... Just curious, as I watch Ridge run around the room, he does seem to run slightly off balance (as if one of his legs will give out just a little) and I'm wondering if it would just be due to lacking a tail? I don't know if there could be any health issues related to it? All other...

    Bedtime Habits!

I've only been with my adult beardie for about two weeks now but once I take him out in the evening, he'll explore for a while and then somehow find the tightest space he can fit into (last night was between my sneaker and the wall) and just passes out! He fell asleep one time in the groves of...

New owner - cage questions (pics)

I have no idea where it's from....but it almost looks very much like the rubber lining people use to line the inside of their cabinets/kitchen drawers. Has a bit of a grip to it? Maybe some of that and regular suction cups and you've got a hammock!?

    Weight Concern

I definitely think he was originally kept on that sand as well. I remember reading someone posts about the orange stains left on his feet! Thank you :)

    Weight Concern

Thanks :) The bite mark comment definitely through me off! Which picture do you notice it in? ...he appears to be fine looking at him in person though. I tired to get as much history from the store as I could about him...but their only information was who he came from and that he was probably...

    Weight Concern

Hi everyone. I have tired to research photos of unhealthy/healthy beardies, but none have really put my mind to ease as to how Ridge seems. Please review the photos and I would appreciate input. He only came home from the pet store less than a week ago, has been eating regularly, fecal was...

    He's not perfect, but...

Hello everyone! New here and new with my first beardie. I take care of one at work and have wanted one ever since :) I have named him Ridge. This photo is from the place I got him (he's now asleep in a larger, more appealing terrarium!)...he was born without a tail, which I think made me fall...
