Hello everyone! New here and new with my first beardie. I take care of one at work and have wanted one ever since :)

I have named him Ridge. This photo is from the place I got him (he's now asleep in a larger, more appealing terrarium!)...he was born without a tail, which I think made me fall that much more in love and want to be able to provide a good home and life.

If anyone has advice or comments (especially on the tail situation), it is greatly appreciated :) According to the store, he is between 2-3 years old (a long time customer of theirs had Ridge in one of her clutches but had to give up her animals because of battling cancer).

Take care everyone! I look forward to being a beardie parent :)

There is really nothing you can do about the tail and he is a cutie!!!! As long as you are happy and feeding him I bet he is a happy camper! The breeder I went to get my beardie Toruk they have a 5 legged beardie and he is a sweetie pie! I am sure he has quite the personality! Welcome Ridge!!

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
