What are your temps?(Basking, Cool side, Ambient). What is the humidity? What are you using to measure the temps(digital,dial) Do you have a UVB/UVA bulb? What brand? What substrate are you using? Are you using a calcium and vitamin supplement? How often?

Do they look like these? If so then they're just dead pigment cells and it's not anything to worry about, it just happens sometimes.

Sounds like everything will be ok, you may wanna have a vet check up just to make sure all is well. =)

They looked fine to me aside from the sand and the adults housed together have a lot of room.

I just noticed that the scale was missing. I would think it would grow back with a little time. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
