wow that is a long time...i would take the beardie to a vet whenever possible just to make sure. :( I hope you don't have an even sicker beardie!!!

Our beardies do this sometimes. Especially when they are about to be put in their baths; I do not think it is anything to be worried about. They also puff themselves up (appearing bloated) when they feel threatened. I don't know for sure, but I do not think this is something to worry about.

WOW!!! That is one fatty beardie! it is absolutely beautiful! sorry i don't have any advice, but, like the others have said, just keep offering it and once the beardie gets hungry enough, it'll eat.

This morning my lil beardie's poo was green. Yesterday was the first day she had eaten a real amount of greens, so could that be it? They were collard greens. All the lights, temps, etc. are good. The only thing wrong is the green poo. Any suggestions?

ideally, he should be eating anywhere from 25-60 crickets a day. the most highly suggested worms are phoenix worms (http://www.phoenixworms.com). next would be silk worms or superworms.

The 18" is fine, but it definitely will not provide the heat you need. That is why you need the separate heating bulb. Make sure you are able to add a basking light to your UVB light. :D Also I think what was said is that you have a 24" fixture but only an 18" bulb.

This morning I noticed what looked like shedding scale covering the nostril of my baby beardie, but as I went kinda peel it off, it came out a hardened booger. Does this indicate my beardie may be sick? Her nose is not runny and she is not showing any symptoms of being sick at all. Temps...

haha hard to tell. maybe, maybe not. they are pretty durable little things and may actually live to pupate, but not likely. either way, you have nothing to worry about. Soldier fly sounds intimidating, but they are harmless. I actually hear they are quite slow for a fly, so it should be easy to...

Haha, my Barnaby went to taste his skin and it got stuck on his chin for like 5 minutes! He was running around his viv with a huge piece of back skin on his face!! :laughhard:

Try a local Reptile Humane Society; they usually sell enclosures for pretty cheap w/ supplies. Worth a shot.
