I also wipe the egg gently with a dry napkin and seperate it from the other eggs. I had 2 that had this and they hatched to be perfectly healthy babies 4 weeks ago :D

Funny Jub just laid clutch #4 just like clockwork also. I think this will be her last one as out of the 18 laid only 7 were fertile. Can't wait to here Cookie's update :)

Hi as far as the substrate for the incubator most everyone uses vermeculite, or perilte. You can find this in the garden center at Walmart, Home Depot or Lowes or any nursery. Well I say that but I couldn't get it anywhere as they would not sell in here in town until Spring and I needed it back...
