make sure you have everything you need that can be found on a caresheet before you get the beardie. Have the tank all setup and the right temperatures met. Don't use a loose substrate. Also don't be afraid when your young beardie doesnt eat for the first couple of days.

Its sad how some of the petco's are just behind in time and knowledge. Atleast they have them on repticarpet and not sand like most places.

Mine female does the same exact thing. Not sure if shes just seeing her reflection or not. As for seeing us as lizards I dunno, I've never seen my beardies snuggle up with each other. But they always try to snuggle right into my neck.

I've dealt with Bloodbank and have two beardies from them. Couldn't ask for more. They have amazing customer service and pretty much are available at all times for the day to make phone calls to.

My beardies tails turn black or gray when they are going to shed or if they are upset about something.

Petco where I am from is perfect. They do everything correctly since they remodeled. Reptile carpet is now used instead of sand and they all have UV lights.
