Reptaid/critical care type food for leopard gecko?

Sadly, my 18 year old leopard gecko has not been very interested in his food the last couple months, and he is starting to lose some weight. I've already talked to my vet about it, and it sounds like he is just slowing down at this point. I know there are several brand/variations of critical...

    Finch eggs

I tried to feed him one today, but he had no interest in it... I rolled it around in front of him and everything, and he just gave me a look, haha.

    Finch eggs

Has anyone ever heard of feeding their beardies finch eggs? I was talking to someone who said her beardie loves them, and I Googled it out of curiosity but couldn't find any info. Dudley liked hard boiled egg when I gave it to him once, so I'm debating trying it as a treat. The eggs are teeny...

Hey Jen, I am so sorry to hear about Scully! :( Me and Duds have our fingers crossed that you get good news from the culture! That's hilarious that Daedalus actually went in the snow!! You would think that they would avoid it at all costs. She's a true Minnesotan reptile I guess. :P

    Bearded Dragons Hand, HELP!!!!

^^^ Exactly. Judging by the picture he's probably a younger teenager, who just got his first reptile. The fact that he signed up for this web site and posted this shows that he cares for them, even though he seems to be in denial about their "friendship". Sometimes all you can do is give people...

    Bearded Dragons Hand, HELP!!!!

... And do you think that saying that is going to make him want to change anything? it's frustrating when people don't want to take our advice, but making people not want to come back to this forum isn't exactly making progress either.

    Bearded Dragons Hand, HELP!!!!

Remember that name-calling isn't helping anyone... @OP: You need to remember that reptiles are completely different than humans or our mammal pets... Since (nearly all) reptiles have been solitary in the wild, they don't have the emotional capacity to "love" or form bonds. The part of their...

Does anyone Use a Exo Terra compact Top PT2613?

It looks like you can use your ReptiSun UVB tube, and then a basking light and a CHE if you need one. (: The light sockets are rated for 150 watts. My vet uses this hood for their clinic's beardie, and it looks really nice! Plus the Exo Terra ones aren't as well made... They are plastic and...

Does anyone Use a Exo Terra compact Top PT2613?

If you want an all-in-one type of hood so you don't have all the different lights on top, try this one instead. (: http://reviews.petco.com/3554/105896/zoo-med-zoo-med-deluxe-sliding-terrarium-hood-reviews/reviews.htm

    Building Styrofoam basking spot/cave.(Finished)

@Dragonscales: Looks awesome! Try putting aquarium-safe silicone on the part of your ledge that goes against the glass. I made the same kind of ledges for my crested and leopard geckos, and I covered the entire backs of them with a layer of silicone so that they "grip" against the glass and...

Alright, so I made some huge changes to my "sand" thread...

Awesome, I'm glad everyone likes it so far! :) Thanks for the compliments. I've already found a number of typos in addition to "ingediant" so I'll do a final edit of it in a day or two. @thelonelyzombie, I hope your girl's spay goes well! BTW, if there is something in there that anyone really...

Alright, so I made some huge changes to my "sand" thread...

viewtopic.php?f=34&t=132151&p=1059940#p1059940 Let me know what you guys think! I know I've been MIA for a while, but after re-reading what I wrote 2 years ago, it was really starting to bother me. I felt like the way I presented the info make it sound like a huge anti-sand rant, and not...

Hey Jen! Everyone looks good! (: You need to post pictures once you have your family photo shoot... That sounds so cute! I've always wanted to get pet portraits done, LOL. Where is everyone finding these salamanders?! I've lived next to a river for 13 years and I've NEVER seen one before, but...

    Experience with wild caught lizards?

Haha, yes I did! :D And they did end up being wild caught. I talked to the vendor quite a bit about them, so hopefully I made a good judgement on buying them. He said that he had had the RECSs he was selling for 6 months, they were clean of parasites, around 2 years old, eating well on crickets...
