the compact coil uv are not good to use you should switch to the long tube uv. you only need heat when they are awake unless it get below 65 at night the less light the better at night. what is the basking temp.

u should only use sand with adults. i prefer slate tile but i do use some sand with mine

3/4 in ply wood i just used what the lumber yard had i bought some track for mine and use real glass because the dragons can scratch plexiglass up for the paint use a water based latex non toxic if you can find it

if the ceramic heater is putting off the right amount of heat the only thing you might need to do is to put lights that don't put heat off to make it brighter in the tank.
