Beardie won't eat veggies until stale

Hi,
I have a beardie, Drogo, who is a year old and refuses to eat his veggies until they've been in his tank a full day. I switch them out each morning for him but he never eats them unless I'm running behind schedule and don't get them switched early enough. Is this bad for him? I mean he seems to like them that way so should I just leave them until the afternoon or can this make him sick?

mine will do that some times. they will eat some fresh and save the rest until they are dry and crisp.
