    Need some proof

My mom isnt into the whole Lizard thing like I am. She just listens to the store owner and believes it all. The owner talked my mom into believing a 3x2x1.5 sized tank is good enough for a full grown Beardie. I'm getting a new tank soon because the store is having a big sale. He has a 75 gallon...

    GREAT DEAL!!!

I'm picking up Skeeter's adult cage in a week! 75 gallon tank!!! I was buying crickets and he had a huge sale on tanks. 1/2 off of his crazy low prices. So I put on hold a 75 gallon tank brand new. Its $75!!! so if anyone is really looking hard for a tank under budget and you live in the area of...

    Tile

Um, I've been looking at homedepot.com to look for some tile because I'm upgrading Skeeter's enclosure for a 75 gallon tank. So I thought this would be a good time to get tile. Now, what do you recommend? If you could, a link would be amazing! I don't wanna pay over around $5 per sq foot...

    The uglyest lizards I've seen

my local petstore has these. I think yes they are cool, but they dont have that great personality like beardies. And they are very lazy. Whenever I go in the store its asleep under its log. I think ill stick with Skeeter

    Dry cricket gut loader

Great! Also what I do, I feed my beardie greens such as collared greens and kale. Basically every type of green has the rough stems. These can't be fed to your beardie so instead of just tossing them, set those on top of your gutload. Just adds some different nutrition.

    Quistions On Feeders...

While true about their nutritional value above, the reason why they aren't regarded the best is the chance of unhealthy, sick, dirty feeders is high. Also, when you compare a wax worm and a super work side by side, the super is much larger. Therefor the wax worm would be almost denser in fat is...

Skeeter's thread (Very Pic Heavy! :)

I thought it was quick and easy for both of us. To tell you the truth, I know alot of people hate the shedding time, but I like it, its like a present, you unwrap it and I love to see what I get, new colors wise.

Skeeter's thread (Very Pic Heavy! :)

He's doing fine. It seems maybe I made it too easy for me. I took his tray of crickets away and dropped crickets in for him. He ate them right up, but now that makes it a lot harder on me. Now I will have to wake up even earlier before school to feed him instead of just putting in the tray...

    Blanket or no Blanket?

Sometimes what helps is when transitioning a new beardie to you is to use a dirty stinky t shirt and wrap them in that. Then they get used to you and your scent.

    Blanket or no Blanket?

I agree with the above. He doesn't use it during the day but loves it at night. You've all seen my *fake trademark* sponge thingy. I put him on that, then wrap the whole thing with an old t shirt.
