To be honest with you. To keep it simple and organic. Get a scrub. Run hot warm water. And scrub them really well. A beaded dragon lives in the wild and in the wild nooe cleans the rocks for them and they do just fine. But to be safe just wash them and scrub them until you feel they are clean.
Everyone has their own opinion on whats best alike substrates to use as sand carpet tile. Etc. And on lighting. You must do research on the wild bearded drago that comes from australia to understand how their natural habitats are and how to mimic them in their enclosure to precise heating and...
Yes but the one you have is a coil uvb uva light. Those are way bright and can cause blindness to dragons. I suggest using that one until you get a long tube uvb uva hood fixture. Like the link i showed you. It lights up good. And also isnt too bright to blind the dragons.
There are heat bulbs. And uvb uva bulbs. Not both in one. You can get one at petco for like 30 bucks an 18 inch would be perfect. They need heat. Heat bulb. And uvb uva bulb. Reptisun bulb.
This is the hood and bulb. It comes with the bulb already...
The round one is for heat. The long one with 2 or 3 tubes is a uvb uva. But that one is a coil. Its better to get a long fixture like the reptisun. And just keep the basking for heat.
You have a basking bulb the white round one. Add it to the dual lamp with the nighttime bulb. And just leave the basking bulb on during the day. And the nighttime at night. What you can do is switch out bulbs every morning so that the uvb uva and basking bulb is on. Then at night add the...
The purple bulb should be fine. Just invest in a uvb light fixture. So during the day the uvb light can be on with the basking bulb. And the nighttime off and when night comes turn off uvb and basking bulb and just turn on nighttime bulb. Of shes sleeping through the night with the purple one. I...
The purple lights is for different reptiles. Use the infrared nighttime bulb. Those are safe to use as bearded dragons cant see in them. To them it will just be dark. It will produce heat and let you know where the beardie is and how he is doing. Personally i dont like the ceramic heat emmiters...
Juvenile bearded dragons need a basking spot from 95 to 110f degrees. There should be a hot side and a cool side so they can regulate their temperatures. Lighting is key. You need a uvb uva fixture so they can get the rught spectrum for proper digestion. So for lighting. Hot side cool side. Hot...
Thank you. The wood was around 30$. The tile was like 10$ and the supplies were like another 10$.
For everything including the filter fot the waterfall i would say like $85. For everything.
This is for my new young bearded dragons.
4x2x2 enclosure with 18 uvb uva light fixture. A 100 watt daylight basking bulb and a 75 watt nighttime bulb.
Everything you see was made by me except the food bowl.
Base floor level with tile. And 2 higher levels for daytime basking and nighttime...
She is fine. She probably wants to brumate she will dig to get comfortable. You shouldnt be worried. Only worry when she stops eating or starts acting abnormal. She just wants to keep digging is all. And they dont look for the eggs after. In the wild they lay them in the place they were buried...
