Hi All. I have some concerned about Oz. He's been in our home for 12 days and seemed to be doing pretty well. He ate the very first night we brought him home and everyday after until yesterday. Yesterday he refused to eat any bugs. Same attitude today. I waited a couple hours for him to warm up and tried to offer him some breakfast. He watches the bugs move around and just looks away. He seems almost lethargic today. Maybe just really sleepy? He's not moving from one of his favorite basking spots. He didn't move around his tank to much before but most days would at least wander around check things out and then go back to basking. Today he pooped and it was a little yellow on the end of the white urate. Dehydrated? Poor UVB? Humidity to low? Normal? Any thoughts would be appreciated. I am worried about the little guy.
Details on his set up. Zoo Med T5 10.0 22 inch across the back of a 36 in long enclosure. It's 18 inches deep and 18 inches tall. The light sits on top of the mesh. His favorite spot is about 10 or 11 inches from the UVB. He has a 100 watt basking bulb and his favorite spot is about 105 degrees. He's about 6 1/2 inches long. His UVB is right next to his basking bulb and the cool side has some space where there is no UVB. On the cool side I do have a daylight led bulb because that side seemed to be to dark. The cool side is about 80 to 85 degrees and the hot side is about 100 to 105. That is the temp directly below his basking light. I moved the humidity probe around his basking area and the humidity is quite low. It's about 15%. On the cool side it's hovers around 26%. At night the temp drops to about 68 and the humidity comes up to about 35%.
Thank you for your help.
