It's not necessarily bad if my boys tail is a bit darker towards the end is it? I mean it may be about to shed too, not sure

It's common for their tail to be dark toward the tip. If it doesn't look wounded or shriveled it shouldn't be a concern.

OK thanks, didn't think so, just checking.
Oh, and do you recall the things I mentioned that have been going on with copper for a while? Finally found a good vet that knows her stuff. She believes its all related to adenovirus. So there's not much we can do. We did some blood work to be sure there's no other issues going on, still waiting for results though.

It will be good to have the blood test results to check his systems overall, especially liver function. Atadenovirus can be managed but not cured.

it seems like its effecting him more than others though. He doesn't eat much, he stopped growing around 7-8 months, had difficulty walking, gets black beard a lot, not sure it's related, but he drinks an insane amount of waster.

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
