I used to order 1,000 1/2'' crickets and they would last about a month.

I was ordering 700x 1/3 size crickets every two weeks for two 6 month olds on two live insect meals per day , I also had silkworms on hand that I hatched and raised for them ( each got 6 - 8 med silkworms per day as well as their crickets , in fact I substituted one feed of crickets with silkworms most days ).
