Sleepy time!

Just took these today while I was cleaning out the cage. They rarely ever get along, well Pip rarely tolerates Zippy, this is a rare phenomenon so enjoy them when they are not fighting...haha

Before the little one decided to show us her colors. SO dark compared to my really bright yellow Pip.


Just wish they could get along. =/ Pip nipped Zippy's tail today for no reason and Zippy flew off the table, she was so shocked. I can't let them even bask together...I don't want a hurt bearded dragon!

I am assuming from a couple of your statements that they are housed separately. A tail nip could mean even worse things for your babies. We have separate vivs for our girls as I know housing them together would deffinitely not work.

At the moment I took and divided my 3 foot by 1 1/2 foot cage and have them in there. Its VERY temporary another week tops. I have Pip's cage ready to be stained and glass doors installed. Just been working a lot and haven't had time to stain it. Then her cage will be built within the next week or so. However, she won't move in for a few months.

They are very cute and decided to both shed today! The little one lost her pink dot and has little bits and pieces of skin EVERYWHERE! Zip really made a mess of herself.

Pip's nose is also showing signs of shedding along with the sides of her face, seems like they are always shedding!

Gave them baths, they disliked them as always...Makes them shed easier though. Stubborn little babies.

I was giving the babies a bath the other day and I had to take some pictures =D

Pip is almost 5 months I believe and Zippy is prolly around 9 weeks old....Its hard to tell everything runs together anymore lol.

Got some mroe pictures!!!! Zippy started to shed...I should have taken a picture of her cage this morning it was awful when she shed she runs around the cage like a maniac leaving shed on every inch of the cage until she is done. She just finished today and is showing more yellow YAY :mrgreen:

I want her to be a citrus so bad Greathouse farms said she would get their because the mom was a really yellow citrus but I was thinking for a while she might take after papa and be a pastel but she is only a shade or two darker than Pip. I can't wait to see what Pip's next shed will produce. She keeps showing more and more orange and I picked her up at a petsmart. Today I noticed they are starting to get a little dehydrated so I soaked them and gave them some water through a syringe. They seem a lot better in just a few hours. Anyway lets get on with some pictures.

ended up taking his picture too just to make him happy. He stopped bugging me after that.

Look at that annoying frill around her collar...it was all gone this morning in little pieces....she hates shedding.


Of course I had to get a picture of Pip...I mean she can't be left out...I'm sure she is going to shed here soon she is all pastel looking. And that beard is developing and getting larger. She puffed it at me, well attempted, when I was trying to give her water with the syringe. Tomorrow they both get their medicine through the syringe I hope they don't hate me forever

eheh good pics and lovely beardies :mrgreen: my REX love hanging out in the sun, if you do that they really look much much happyer and with more colors too eheh they will be fine with you :wink: if you watch them at a 1 m from the cage they get accustom to you and then you grab them and they seem to enjoy! mine loves me now eheh never ever open his mouth to me after i do that

Ummm Zippy isn't made at me She is mad at her situation. She opens her mouth to gape when she is hot and she had been running around the cage all day over heating herself. Both my bearded dragons do this when they shed because they do it so often!!!! They shed every week it seems.

Very pretty dragons you have, they are precious! Pip reminds me of Cinder.
Aw, shedding looks like it kills them. You can tell she detests it.

Well since I last updated Pip and Zippy have a new neighbor thay have been very curious about. Since my sister has decided to keep one of my rescues they have been waving and practicing their head bobbing. Its so funny because Pip cannot head bob its more like a twitch. Zippy has the rhythm and the perfect wave. He goes all the way around and really emphasizes with her hands. Its so cute and I love it. I have not caught any of the waves or head bobbing on camera because its been dead.

Also a recent development in Zippy's nether regions is showing signs of male. Greathouse...I believe you broke your record when you sent me this one lol. I also think that Zippy is male because he is very adamant in showing Cagney, our full size male, that he means business while Pip our female juvenile dragon shows no really large signs of blackbearding or annoyance. I dunno if that matters because every bearded dragon is different but Zippy definitely is showing two bumps down there and the pores on his legs are getting larger and more noticable than Pip. Its exciting because I wanted a pair instead of two females. Ha its been a long couple of months trying to figure it out but I think I have a girl and a boy.

Pip just went through a shed last week and I took some pictures. It was hillarious and I had to get it on camera. Enjoy!

I love bearded dragons so much and even though they are expensive little guys I wouldn't trade them for a furry fuzzy animal.

So much fun yesterday with my baby bearded dragons we went outside and had some fun in the grass. I have a awesome video of Pip chasing this weed that my sister was draggin on the ground but first I have this video. Pip and Zippy like to show Cagney that they mean business and this night in particular they really wanted him to know. I got a couple pictures and a video. They just kept waving and waving and waving. There are also a couple head bobs. I finally got it on camera and it was so worth it.
