Drachen and Treven updated 1/18/12

My fiancee and I bought Drachen on Saturday at 9am, I lost power due to Hurricane Irene on Sunday at 7am. I was worried about the lack of UV and heat so my fiancee and I cuddles with Drachen. Drachen started to eat from my hand and will actually crawl onto my hand now, I also put my shirt I was wearing that into the tank for warmth at night. Now Drachen only wants to sleep on my shirts so I put 2 in the tank permanently. I got power back today at 3:30pm so it was a pretty good first 4 days.

Maybe when Nik feels better he'll eat better for you. I got lucky that Drachen just eats anything I give him. I dont even have to simulate motion with the veggies or fruits.

Nik did try to eat his uhhh shed skin when I was getting his crickets ready. (it was laying there. it's since been vacuumed.) Silly guy.

Haha have you tried possibly lightly dusting your veggies? That might attract Nik a little put a tiny bit of calcium on some damp kale or dandelion greens.

I'm in Asheville (aka land of the weird, the hippies, the eccentric, and where everyone flocks to) - Western NC, about.. 45 minutes from Tennessee. In the mountains - in a valley. Unless a hurricane starts in Charleston and basically travels west up I-26, we get NOTHING.

Oh, and never apologize for such silly things as too many pics and too many bump updates. Apologize for too little!

The wind is what killed us, the rain stops and I am like oh we didnt lose power, then all of a sudden boom and power is out due to wind. Probably was a tree, but the beautiful weather helped us make it through. Haha I rescind my apology then

Hehe well I was at it again. I finished feeding Drachen and put him back in the Viv, he looked at me and said I don't want to be stuck in here. He went into his water dish and chilled so I decided to go take another quick bath. I brought the camera along and went crazy. At the end when I finished drying him I made a kissy face and he crawled up and licked my lip. It was kinda stupidly cute my fiancee would be so jealous if she saw.

Thanks, I try my best I always loved taking pics but never took it serious enough.

Drachen is ridiculously cute I always feel guilty when he/she gets dark and upset. Drachen always looks so sad when I walk in and dont allow free reign over my room.
