I’m not familiar with mealworm beetles but I used to have a rhinoceros beetle, it ate fruits and leaf litter. It may apply to those as well.

Leaf litter so like any lettues kale would they eat like oregano fresh or like basil? Or do i just give it and see?
By leaf litter I meant the dry leaves from outside, but they will most likely eat greens such as lettuce. You can do a trial and error with greens if you want but honestly they eat anything!

For leaf litter, buy it bagged from a reptile supply, something like bio dude. (His stuff is pricey though).

Okay good to know how much do beetles tend to consume? Are they always eating like some bugs or not so much?
I left plenty with it, it ate what it wanted and I replaced it when necessary. I don’t know if this applies for mealworms though, give them some and if they eat it all give them more.

Carrots + potatoes are main staples with oatmeal or bran as substrate. They can eat many types of fruits +veggies but I avoid the softer stuff that can get moldy quickly. Apple is O.K, cauliflower leaf + stalk, raw green bean are a few.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
