Zinger's Returned (For Good This Time!)

Hi! If anyone on here remembers me, I'm back! Zinger is doing really well and with summer comes a little bit of more free time to spend on my very favorite site! As many of you know, I stopped coming on after my Saint Bernard, Max died. I miss him dearly.

However, Zinger is still alive and well. He has gone to the vet for checkups, and the vet said he was as healthy as a horse! Now that it's summer, he's going to be going outside a lot more which means more pictures for you all! This summer I have two jobs. I ended up opening my own advertising business. I also work as a CSR at Farmer's insurance. (Who knew you could get an actual job at 14!) I hope all is well with everyone and I hope to catch up soon! Please feel free to post your updates on yourself on this post. I'd love to know how everyone has been!

It is so good to see you and Zinger back with us.
That's great that Zinger is doing so well and now gets to enjoy the summer outside basking in the sun.
Wow! Two jobs at the age of 14. What motivation! You go girl!!!! You remember I have a 14 y.o. son as well. I would be pleased as punch if he had even one job, lol. Although he does do alot around the house for me.

Rex and Bligg are doing well. Rex is now 7 y.o. and just as sweet as ever. Bligg is going to be 2 y.o. next month and has turned into quite the handsome eating machine. The both of them have been enjoying the outdoors soaking up the FL sun. 8)

Glad to see ya back, sweetie! Good luck with your new business and keep us posted as to how it goes.

Oh my goodness! Rex is such a great beardie, and so adorable! Of course, Bligg is, too. I can't believe he's almost 2! Wow! What day is his birthday? Zinger's is the 25th of this month! I'll definately get some pictures up. Especially on his birthday.

And thank you! I have been really busy since I was on last. I was in track this year, and that was the only sport I was able to do. I joined the Young Marines and they have been keeping me really busy. I'm currently a lance corporal. I work under my mom as a CSR for Farmer's insurance. The business I opened is an advertising business where I hold signs on my jumping stilts. They look like the artificial legs people in the olympics use and they hook on at the knee. They allow me to jump 4-6 feet in the air and run 15-25 mph.

We have gotten a saint bernard and pitbull since I was last on. I don't know if you remember, but I was trying to rehome a pitbull we had rescued last winter. We found her six homes, but none worked out. So we ended up keeping her. As you know, our saint bernard passed away last summer. We weren't ready for another, but my aunt found one that a lady was giving away. He wasn't being fed well. So, we drove to Illinois (from Missouri) and picked him up. He was only two years old and his name was Peanut. We had him for six months. On one Sunday, we noticed that he was limping and his leg had swollen overnight. We made a vet appointment for two days later. We found out that he had deep bone cancer. We had to put him down only two short weeks later. It was so fast. I had grown so attached to him and was devastated at the loss. The cancer spread so fast and what started in one day killed him in two weeks. I'm still heartbroken at the loss.

The pitbull, however, is doing very well. However, she has aggression problems and the vet reccomends that we put her down. This is the last thing we want to do and have been putting it off. We'll have to see what happens there.

Well I do not know you but I seen this and I'm always looking to meet someone that has BD's as in the last year of having them I have fallen in love with them. I didn't know how I would like them when we first got them but after days Princess was my baby and about a month later we got Chaos and he has came a long way. I look forward to seeing Zinger's pic's. Good luck with everything you seem like a very bright young lady.

Thank you! It is really hard to think that he's gone, but I know I'll see him again someday. I sure hope he felt like royalty! He was my shadow for the whole time we had him! haha. You can definately count on me staying on the site for quite a while now. :mrgreen:

Happy third birthday, Zinger! Both of our girls are three, or so I believe based on what we were told, at least told as regarding Rosie Zoom Zoom. I guessed on Goldie Speedy as the lady that gave her to us didn't remember how long they had her. We will have had Goldie for 3 years in about 2 months from now (end of August for her, end of September for Rosie)

THANK YOU for the birthday wishes!!! My mom has her cam right now. We are working on selling our house so she has been posting tons of pics on craigslist, but I'll get them up! Don't fear! :lol: It'll be an extra amount so I can get pics of the furries as requested :wink: . Zinger had a pretty good birthday! Lots of hugs and kisses and a special birthday salad!

Tomorrow is basically a free day after work so I'll jump on it!

That cracked me up! He actually was named Zinger because he was chubby and I decided he needed to lay off the Zinger cakes. He also "Zinged" around when he ran.

Ha...ha! Beardie eye puffs. It was pretty freaky the first time I saw a beardie do that. :lol:
I actually had a few eye puffers today. I have 3 boys shedding around their eyes.

I'll be watching for those pic's...it's been awhile since I've seen any of the Zing.
