Okay, as many of you know, I fell off the face of the earth due to school and all the other acitivities I am in. Hower, due to Christmas break, I will be getting on more. Anyway, here is a LONG update on Zinger:
He is doing great and I have so far been able to stop him from brumating! While I was gone, he has picked up a new habit. Every morning, Zinger bulges his eyes. I hate it! It creeps me out and it looks painful, so I always have to pet him to make him stop. He has been eating like a ravenous monster! He has also recently realized that no matter what; I will make him bask. So he has started going over to his basking area on his own instead of fighting with me about it. That is definately convenient!
Exciting news:
I found one of my Christmas presents on accident and it just happens to be a huge tank for Zinger!! Oh, I am so excited! I think he will love it. I have decorated his tank and bought him a few Christmas decorations. He seems to like the little light-up reindeer I put in his tank the most. He is constantly staring at it. He also likes the Christmas tree in the living room. Every time he sees it, he slithers over and tests his boundaries. He almost ate a pine needle and is longing to attack one of the bulbs!
EVEN MORE EXCITING/SCARY NEWS!!!
My friend's sister has a Water Dragon that is not taken care of well. My friend and his mom asked me if I would take it. Against my better judgement, I agreed to take it if the sister would let it go. If you recall, my parents said no to one of Mrs.Barbera's babies. But since this is kind of a rescue, they made an exception. Anyway, I am going to research them. Since it is such short notice; I was wondering if anyone could give me a crash course on the Water Dragons along with my research. That would be great if someone could help me out with that.
Now, pictures:
As you can see, he is shedding!
Hope you guys enjoy the pics~
