Zeusy not eating except crickets

Hello fellow beardie lovers,

I've ran into a wall with dealing with Zeusy. He WILL NOT EAT ANYTHING but crickets every few days. OCCASIONALLY he'll eat butternut squash from my hand, and he's chomp up dandelion flowers. But NOT dandelion greens.

I've tried him on Kale, collard greens, escarole, bok choy, dandelion greens. What in the world can I do? Our markets around here are limited, and I don't know what to do!!

I'm afraid he isn't getting enough nutrition!! Is this normal?? :shock:

How old is Zuesy?
How are you preparing the salad? How are you offering it?

Zeusy is almost 3 and i'm putting the salad in once a day. tried bok choy yesterday and he HATED it. He tends to like the greens half dried. he was brought up on iceberg (not by me, he was adopted), and i spray his butternut squash with vitamins 4 times a week. He won't even touch escarole!
He loves that stuff. Or, did. And he's getting lazy on the crickets, but still passes his food.

I think it's time for me to at least get a new UVB bulb. but that can't be why, can it?

ZEUSY! I offered my dragon Zeus his greens mixed with some worms. As the worms would stir around the veggies he would snag those as well!

Haha thank you ZeusAlmighty, lol, but Zeusy won't even touch worms. We tried a superworm at petco today and he had none of it... I tried waxworms *not as a staple* and he just stared at them. He's so set in his ways. The specialist said to puree the greens and stick the slices of butternut squash in the mix...also try frozen peas. Should I withhold the crickets until he gets some greens? He is older...I don't know anymore. Ugh! Sometimes I just want to put a leaf on his head and walk away.
