It has been a LONG time since I've hit the bd.org forums, and I'm not sure if you remember me, but it's wonderful to see that Z&W are doing well! :blob5: :blob8:

Yeah, I was thinking there must have been a few Rough Patches along the way. But it's really nice to see Alive and going Strong! :) Are they going to be in "World Record" Book or anything for Living so Long? : Just Curious" Haha. But Yes, I saw the X-Ray's, 2-Head's, 1-Brain's...Two Completely Different Personalities :p I couldn't even Imagine. Lol. And I also Read where She said 1 of them usually get's His way, but sometime's the other put's a stop to it when need be. Can't wait to see More Picture's of the Guy's!
Thank-you Rusel!
Yes we hard a couple of rough patches/scares in the past with eating. They were getting food lodged in their throats...well actually it is Zak that seems to have a cramped/crowded throat. But we remedied that by feeding them slurries from then on.

Thank-you Everyone for the Holiday and New Year wishes!
I hope that all of you had a wonder Thanksgiving and Christmas!
Also hope that all of you have a great 2013!

Sorry for not being around much...lifes been challenging lately to say the least.
I'll try to not stay MIA for so long. I feel so out of the loop. This is the longest absence I have had from this site since joining.

Thank-you again for keeping Zak-n-Wheezie's thread going!

They woke for Thanksgiving and stayed awake till after Christmas, but with this crazy cold weather we are having looks like they have decided to nap till it warms up again.

Truely have missed you all!

Barbara, so glad to hear from you! I miss you like crazy! Yes, let me know when you have phone service again, please. Glad everyone is ok! We're all good here, Lonzo's in the bath, he's kept weight on. Rubio is still sound asleep, so is Didi. Leo is very lazy, hardly moves but won't sleep, yet at least. I fell last week on the last step to the parkade, was on my way to the gym, ended up in the hospital instead, but nothing broken and here, a week later, it's healing well, just need a support that fits in my show so I can get back to work.
My mom and dad are celelbrating their 58th wedding anniversary soon, so they're off to Hawaii for 3 week, leave on Friday. Then Eric and Tara move to their new place on Saturday, I was supposed to help, but not likely at this point. At least my ankle is alot less swollen and I can now walk on it.

Take care, sweetie, hope to talk to you soon,
Love
Deb
Big hugs and say big hi to Frank and family.

Hope your Holidays were awesome!

Hi Deb!

Darn it Lady! Didn't I tell you NO more falls? I'm glad to hear that you didn't break anything though.
Congratulations to your parents! What an accomplishment...58 years. Wow!

I take it that Eric and Tara got a larger place?

Hugs & Snuggles!

Miss you all so much!

Yes, I know, no more falls. Well Lori offered to send me alot of bubble wrap to wrap myself up in when I go out. I decided I'll just use the elevator to go down, then I'll walk up stairs when I'm able to again, that way if I fall, I fall UP, NOT DOWN  I'll be glad when my ankle is back to normal, looks like it won't be too long. Yes, Eric and Tara are moving into the bottom of a duplex and Eric is, as usual, all stressed out and complaining about $, what else is new, so taking on more expenses is a good thing, I guess. It's a nice place, in a better area. She did got to the doc and she's now 3 1/2 mo pregnant, so far so good. I'll keep you updated.

Just to give you a couple of laughs, Gabriel found a way out of the living room, with his long snout he pushed his way out of the 2nd barrier, twice, little bugger. 1st time I found him in the hallway checking everything out. 2nd time I found him sleeping underneath the computer, all curled up, sound asleep...and the latest is he's now figured out how to climb the sofa, guess who's getting his nails clipped soon. Once he's on the sofa, he can jump down into the rest of the house & get into my bedroom and hide anywhere. Litlle bum  Never a dull moment when Gabriel is around; as a result he's not allowed out for awhile, even though I've plugged up the holds in the barrier!
Take care,
Love
Deb

Hello Jordan!
It's good to see you around here as well as it is good to be here myself. :D
I agree life has been crazy! :banghead:  2013 has got to be better than 2012......Please, please, please God.
Thanks for checkin' in on the boys. They surely would appreciate it if they were up to know.

I have noticed that their spin seems to have gotten more crooked lately. :(
I hope to God this doesn't cause them to much of an issue. I guess we will know come Spring.

Hey Deb,

3/12 months huh?
I hope all goes okay with Tara's pregnancy. I know she's got back issues...is the doctor ordering bed rest for her? I would think they would.
To me the biggest joys of life have been my grandbabies. :love5:
You are so gonna love being a Meemaw. :love5:
I'm so excited or you! :blob8: :blob5: :blob8:

BTW...normally I don't fall down the stairs either...I fall goin' up too. Go figure! :?

Darn silly Gabriel. Give that booger, as well as the rest your crew, a snuggle from Auntie Barb. :love5:

Hugs & Snuggles Jordan, Deb, and Babies!

Is it because they'd been brumating? Hope their spine won't shift anymore.

Gina it's that darn ole scoliosis curve at the bottom of their spin. I knew it would eventually get worse. I just hope that it doesn't get the best of them. I'm prepared for their mobility to decease...not emotionally though. :( So far it doesn't seem to be bothering them.

Hey Dawn I'm stuck in the ole days these darn laptops drive me crazy! I just need a new tower for my dinosaur of a home computer . LOL
They/Z&W are not out cold just napping. I can still get them to arouse when I'm desperate for their company.
Glad you are thawing...we still have freeze warnings goin' on. Sucks! This is California! :?

Glad to see you back, if only for a little bit, Barbara. I am going to post some new pics of our Lil Squirt. She's shedding. It took her awhile to start shedding but finally, the tip of the tail was first, then the claw half of her front legs, then the rest of the tail. She's been working on her back, then her tummy (finally noticed that one) and her back legs. Bill said she was shedding like crazy today and he said she's miserable. Friday she'll be 7 months old. She gave me a stink eye one morning last week. I put her into her hide when I was heading to bed one night and she was soo wide awake she was scratching in her hide, loudly. Bill gave her to me as he's the one to spoil them more than I am. I let her sleep on my tummy for about half an hour or so, then I gently got out of bed, picked her up and put her in her hide, the only time I was able to do that without getting holes in my hand (she has such sharp claws compared to all my other girls). I don't want to cut her claws because I want her able to climb if she needs to. I will have to watch her around the tree though. She's been such a blessing. I bought a couple dozen crickets for $2 a couple of weeks ago to see if she'd eat them, she doesn't even see them so I don't think she's into crickets. If she ever was, the super worms we have changed that.

I would think your temps are warming up as we have had freezing temps for close to a month, the just go up to maybe 55f then down to the mid to low 40's. We had two nights of a hard freeze that hit Tucson also. When a hard freeze hits Tucson, you know it's going to be cold where we are. We are supposed to be warmer in through the weekend. I hope it doesn't get cold again, I'm tired of wearing 3 layers in the house.

They are so cute :). I love the picture where ones all puffed up and the other looks like hes thinking "Get yo spikes outta my face!". How are they doing now?

Wow this is amazing. I love bearded dragons and I can't believe that they lived for so long considering the conditions they have. I bet you had to spend a lot of money on them just to keep them alive and twins like this almost never survive no matter what you do for them and keeping them alive must have been hard.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
