young beardie showing signs of brumation, need help!

Hello there! I need some advice
I have 2 beardies, both about 5 months old, living together in one terra.
Everything was going just fine since I've had them (4 months ago), until a few days ago, when one of the two dragons started to sleep almost during the whole day in a darker and cooler spot in the terra and not showing much interest to food at all. This habit has been going on for ca. 4-5 days.
I was searching this up and the thing that popped up everywhere was brumation, but they're 5 months old so that shouldn't be happening yet.

and it was exactly the same situation I'm in. One of the beardies is growing and doesn't have any problem while the other one is staying small. The bigger one is also showing signs of beign the most dominant one. The answer to that question on Yahoo seemed very thorough and now I'm thinking about buying a new terra so both the beardies have their own place.

I would really appreciate any advice from you guys, as the smaller beardie isn't showing much signs of life. Thanks, Max

If they were mine, I would separate them right away.
I doubt this is brumation, and the small one is being dominated by the larger, like you said. Even if it is not the perfect tank you want, I would find something else to put the bigger one in, so the little one doesn't have to be further stressed by relocation.

Hello, first of all, you should definatly seperate them as they can pass disease and fight with eachother. I have not heard of that young of a bearded dragon going into brumation. This can be many of things, impaction, parasites, respiratory infection. What is your substrate? Is your UVB updated, and is it coil or tube? What is the temperature of your basking side and cool side? What is his diet consist of? Do you keep him hydrated and give calcium?
